Committee approves Med Scribe contract increase to support WIC, staff says program serves about 11,500
The Human Services Committee approved an amendment to the contract with Med Scribe Inc. to support the WIC program; county staff said the program serves approximately 11,500 individuals and the contract increase will allow temporary staffing to maintain appointment compliance.

The committee moved and approved Referral 26'0152, an amendment to increase the contract with Med Scribe Inc. for support of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). The motion was moved and seconded by Legislator Vasquez Simmons and Legislator Cruz and carried without recorded opposition.
