Planner schedules public hearing for Huya Ranch rezone request
The planning department recommended scheduling a public hearing for a rezone application from Huya Ranch LLC to change roughly 40 acres from RR-10 to RR-5; planning staff noted the Planning Advisory Commission recommended forwarding the request and that geotechnical review will be required if landslide buffers apply.

Senior planner Marissa Watson presented a rezone application filed by Huya Ranch LLC to change approximately 40 acres from RR-10 to RR-5 to enable large-lot subdivision. Watson said the Planning Advisory Commission reviewed the request at an Aug. 31 meeting and voted to forward it to the board. Staff proposed Sept. 29 be used to set a public hearing for Oct. 27.
