Supervisors press Dairyland on route and how to influence PSC docket
Vernon County supervisors asked whether the county or landowners can prevent the route; Dairyland said it proposes routes but the Wisconsin PSC makes the final decision and parties can intervene once the CPCN docket is filed.

Board members repeatedly asked presenters what the county can do to influence or stop the proposed route. "We don't decide the route," Dairyland's Luke Fuller told the board, explaining that utilities propose routes and the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin evaluates the CPCN record and issues the final route decision.
