The City of Decatur Common Council adopted Ordinance 2026-12 on Aug. 18, 2026, amending Chapter 32, Section 32.093 of the 2025 City of Decatur Code of Ordinances to change the composition of the Arts Commission board. Councilmember Jenny Bowers-Shultz moved to adopt the ordinance on its final reading; Abby Wilder seconded the motion and the roll call vote passed 5–0.
