Andrew Mazzella, founder and CEO of Mazzella Alaska LLC, used the public‑comment period to enter a formal procedural objection to the planning commission’s handling of the moratorium public hearing. Mazzella told commissioners his firm had sent counsel’s letter citing three alleged notice defects and asked that the commission remove the moratorium from the agenda and postpone action until notice issues are cured.
