Randy Barton proposed formation of an AI Work Group in collaboration with Michigan Virtual to "analyze how AI is being/ought to be used with consideration of Board policies, and to develop administrative guidelines." The proposal was presented as a staff initiative; the committee discussed the idea but did not adopt formal policy at the meeting.
