Decatur parks and public-safety updates: pool schedule, grant award, and parks parcel transfer

Parks and Recreation Superintendent Cara Gerber told the council the city pool will be open on weekends beginning Aug. 11, 2026 and closing Sept. 6, 2026. Gerber also said the department received the ACCF Local Government Grant to be used for South Ward Park.
