Marshall County Council voted to authorize short-term part-time patrol coverage to help the sheriff fill gaps in staffing. The council approved a motion to provide 40 hours per week of part-time patrol at $38 per hour for a 12-week period to cover three currently-out officers; the motion carried by voice vote.
