During the budget workshop, staff called attention to a large, proposed increase for software and technology services and to an unusually high internet and cable line item. One participant said, "This Internet and cable is at 200,000" (Staff member [S2], SEG 179) and asked for invoices or a bill breakdown; another suggested returning with a lower placeholder figure of $40,000 pending documentation.
