Council member Joel Dorsch proposed replacing the cemetery's front chain-link fence along Center Street with approximately 500 feet of white vinyl fencing, citing a more welcoming appearance and a price of $13,926. Mayor Van Wagoner reported a second bid of $16,125 and said a third bid was expected but not received. "The vinyl fence will be more welcoming than the chain link fence," Dorsch said when presenting the proposal.
