Council members approved several sidewalk projects following presentations from Council member Bradley Giles. The council approved a 215-foot, 4-foot-wide sidewalk at Bell and Emery with an estimate of $8,771, and later approved a 234-foot, 5-foot sidewalk on 400 E with an approximate $20,000 bid. "215-foot sidewalk with a width of 4 feet that will cost $8,771," Giles reported as the estimate for the Bell and Emery project.
