Several community announcements were made during the public-comment period. Bella Kurtz, headwaters coordinator for Alpine Watershed Group, reminded residents that Creek Day is scheduled Saturday, Sept. 19, 9:00–12:30 p.m., meeting at Markleyville Library Park; she asked volunteers to RSVP at alpinewatershedgroup.org/creek-day and to bring water and sun protection.
