Board authorizes survey for County Road A sewer-main replacement after engineering briefing
Delta 3 Engineering presented a preliminary plan and estimate to replace the sewer main along County Road A; the board authorized a fall survey to align design with the county road reconstruction and later seek funding.

Mark Digman of Delta 3 Engineering told the Village Board that replacing the sewer main on County Road A is a timely opportunity, particularly because a sinkhole has opened on 1st Street and televising attempts under State Highway 35 were blocked by water. Digman said the proposed alignment minimizes costs by routing the main outside the roadway and reducing manholes. "the timing presents a favorable opportunity," he said, pointing to evidence of a failed pipe section and the county's road project schedule.
