Commission adopts comprehensive homelessness resolution after extensive public testimony

The Commission unanimously adopted a resolution directing staff to identify properties for shelter and to continue evidence-based partnerships to reduce homelessness; the resolution cites HMIS and ACE data ("over the course of a year, more than 1,500 individuals experience homelessness") and the 2026 Point-in-Time Count (about 295).
