The Zoning Board approved variances to permit construction of an additional 22-unit building to the Northside Manor complex at 1422 Portland Avenue. Alex Ammering of Kostich Engineering explained the property was rezoned recently, that two houses will be replaced and six lots combined, and that the proposal increases acreage and parking to approximate existing ratios; he said the project proposes about 130 parking spaces where staff recommended 102.
