The Deerfield Select Board voted Sept. 9 to designate Rural Development Incorporated (RDI) as the preferred developer to pursue senior housing on the former St. James Church site at 83–85 North Main Street, authorizing town counsel and administrators to negotiate a land disposition agreement (LDA) while preserving the board's right to approve any final contract.
