Supervisors make multiple board appointments, reappointments and table one vacancy

The Wise County Board of Supervisors acted on several appointments on Aug. 6. The board appointed Chris Williams to the Industrial Development Authority to fill a vacancy, re-appointed Sandra Adkins to the Social Services Board for a four-year term, re-appointed Debra Wells to the Wise County Tourism Committee for a four-year term, and appointed Narda Porter to the Lonesome Pine Library Board of Trustees for a four-year term. The District 2 appointment for the IDA (Russell Wampler) and one Community Policy & Management Board appointment were tabled to the September meeting.
