At its Sept. 8, 2026 meeting, the Jasper County Board of Supervisors approved several routine items by unanimous vote. Human Resources Director Dennis Simon requested and the board approved a 2026 Employee Blood Profile contract with MercyOne Newton Medical Center Laboratory at a cost of $30 per full-time employee (county-paid); PSA testing and costs for part-time employees were noted as optional and employee-paid.
