AIC–SRI scholarship awarded to Greene County student Ella Welsh
The Association of Indian Counties and SRI named Greene County's Ella Welsh a recipient of one of four $500 scholarships for children of county employees; the presenters offered the check to her mother, Casey, for delivery.

David Barber, executive director of the Association of Indian Counties, told Greene County commissioners that the AIC and SRI grant four $500 scholarships each year for students whose parents work in county government. "One of the winners is from Greene County. Her name is Ella Welsh," Barber said, noting Welsh graduated from White River Valley High School and is attending Vincennes University.
