Matt of M & F Real Estate told the board the Chapman Building design and engineering are the major remaining tasks and that he expects permit submittal by late September, giving a conservative buffer for reviews. He said the project will prioritize a first-floor restaurant with mezzanine seating and multiple small second-floor office tenants; an elevator and structural work around an original 130-year-old wall remain design concerns.
