After staff described efforts to work with a newly hired teacher who stopped reporting for duty, the board voted that good cause did not exist for Emily Proctor to abandon her Midway ISD employment contract and later authorized the superintendent to notify the Texas Education Agency seeking sanctions against her educator certificate.
