The Florence board approved Performance Therapy's Get Fit Florence 5-K Run and Fun for August 15, 2026, starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending around 9:30 a.m. The motion followed a recommendation from Police Chief Burns and was made by Alderman John Banks, seconded by Alderman Kyle Martin; it carried unanimously.
