The district’s solicitor, Mr. King, briefed the board on a small tract (Parcel 84) on Pine Road in Penn Township that appears to remain recorded in the old Penn Township School District’s name following district mergers. Mr. King said the parcel looks to have been conveyed in fee and that, because the tract appears to be titled to the former township school district, the Big Spring School District now holds the title by operation of merger.
