Land Board approves $61,242 easement package affecting multiple counties

The Land Board approved item 0826-3, a package of easements described by Director Castor as benefiting the Common Schools Trust, MSU 2nd and the Public Land Trust, with a reported total package value of $61,242. Director Castor identified affected counties (Beaverhead, Broadwater, Daniels, Fallon, Fergus, Flathead, Judith Basin, Lewis and Clark, Toole, Valley and Wheatland) and said the easements cover fiber optic cable, private access, natural gas pipeline, and water and sewer pipelines.
