Baltimore County staff told the Personnel Salary Advisory Board that two shift-differential updates should be incorporated into the class-and-comp plan to reflect current negotiated terms. Staff said pay-schedule 2 employees (represented by a bargaining unit referenced in the transcript) had previously received a $1.10 hourly shift differential; the new agreement increases that to $1.50 per hour and staff asked the board to update Rule 11 to reflect the negotiated rate.
