County approves WIC CPA contract to extend temporary coverage through year-end
Freeborn County approved an agreement with Amber Converse to provide WIC CPA services remotely at $50 per hour for four hours on Monday mornings from Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026 to assist as the new WIC coordinator completes training.

The board approved a resolution to contract with Amber Converse for WIC CPA services to provide remote coverage and training support for the program's new coordinator. Public health staff said Amber has been providing services since roughly May and the requested extension runs from Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026 at $50 per hour for a four‑hour Monday shift.
