Roxbury Board authorizes DEC grant application for Shephard Hills Dam subsurface testing
The Town Board authorized the Town Supervisor to apply to the NYCDEC for required subsurface testing at Shephard Hills Dam and said a future contract and second resolution will be required if the grant is awarded.

On Aug. 10 the Town of Roxbury Board authorized the Town Supervisor to submit an application through the New York City Department of Environmental Conservation (NYCDEC) for required subsurface testing at Shephard Hills Dam. The motion, made by Lisa Ciaravino and seconded by Deanna Osborn, passed 4–0 with Supervisor Allen Hinkley absent.
