Cass SWCD approves multiple cost-share payments and cover-crop projects

The Cass SWCD board reviewed and approved multiple cost-share applications and payment vouchers on Aug. 12, 2026. Items approved include CS570-26 and CS584-26 (Critical Area Planting from Leech Lake River WBIF Phase 3), CS586-26 (well sealing), a payment voucher CS533-25 for Critical Area Planting, CS567-26 for soil testing under Soil Health Delivery 2025, CS589-26 and CS590-26 cover crop cost shares from Crow Wing WBIF Phase 1, and payment voucher CS557-26 for a livestock pipeline from Crow Wing Phase 1. Motions for each item were moved by board members (records show movers such as Kenneth LaPorte, Jennifer O'Neill and Thomas Kuschel) and passed by unanimous roll call.
