A board member (S7) described an "inordinate amount of abuse of electric bikes" on the Rails-to-Trails corridor and asked whether state or outreach funding could be used for public education. The member said many parents "do not know what the rules and regulations are" and warned that some e-bikes that lack pedals are effectively motorcycles and require licensing.
