May 5, 2026

The full story

Commissioners approved the reestablishment of a master plan (H2607) for a small single‑family subdivision on Sheffield Road. Staff said the plan mirrors the previously approved layout from 2021 and requires no deviations; Michelle Miller noted density and septic compliance with county regulations. Commissioners pressed the petitioner on one uniquely shaped lot that abuts existing residents; the applicant agreed to designate a 7.5‑foot buffer easement at final plat to protect trees and rear yard privacy. The motion to renew the master plan with the buffer easement language passed 5–0.
