County auditors onsite; comprehensive financial statement expected within weeks

County Manager Thomas Weaver told the July 28 work session that external auditors were recently onsite and had completed field work, leaving Thursday of that week. Weaver said staff expect the comprehensive financial statement (covering prior years back to 2022) to be completed and ready for presentation to the commission within about two weeks.
