The county zoning board granted a variance to the building-line setback for an existing home in northeast Oklahoma County after staff described preexisting conditions and the owner said the house had been rebuilt without permits.

Oklahoma Countys zoning board voted to grant a variance allowing an existing home to remain 10 feet into the normally required setback, citing topography and evidence of a prior structure on the site. The motion to grant the variance was made by a committee member and seconded by the chair; roll-call votes were recorded as "Aye" for members present and the motion carried.
