River Heights City Council on Sept. 1 adopted Resolution 12-2026, revising monthly solid-waste rates effective Oct. 1, 2026. The new schedule incorporates Waste Management’s 4.9% rate increase and adds $2 per month per account to cover River Heights’ administrative costs; a $1 per month communication fee imposed by Logan City also appears on bills. The resolution sets container rates (for example, a 96‑gallon trash can at $21.53 and a 64‑gallon can at $20.38) and lists ancillary charges and rounded ancillary-service fees.
