The Yuba Sutter Arts Council reported on education programs, public‑art projects, grant‑funded initiatives and plans for a 299‑seat performing arts venue; staff said grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and other partners have funded murals, youth programs and pilot projects.

A representative of the Yuba Sutter Arts Council briefed the Board on the council’s year of programs and partnerships, including arts education, public‑art projects and facility management. The council said it operates two facilities (the Borough Center for the Arts in Marysville and the Center Theater in Yuba City), runs student programs such as field trips and youth mariachi orchestra, and administers public‑art projects including murals and utility‑box art funded through grants.
