Senior planner Casey Murray presented a rezone and general plan amendment for a 4.21‑acre parcel at 1280 Walnut Avenue to permit commercial‑industrial uses consistent with the county’s growth area map. Murray said the project was circulated and that an initial study recommended a mitigated negative declaration with agreed mitigation measures. "No development or use is proposed at this time," Murray said, noting any future uses would require design review and environmental or discretionary entitlements as applicable.
