Sutter County to add AI chatbot "Peaches" to county website and phone lines
The Clerk-Recorder's office will roll out an AI chatbot and phone agent named "Peaches" late July'early August using CitiBot technology; the bot will search county web content, speak 70+ languages and route calls, funded from special revenues rather than the general fund.

The Sutter County Clerk-Recorder staff told the Board of Supervisors the county will roll out an automated digital agent named "Peaches" on county web pages and as an initial phone agent for the Clerk-Recorder office. Donna (Clerk-Recorder staff) said the county entered an agreement with CitiBot to provide a chatbot that can comb the website and provide answers in more than 70 languages. "Peaches is going to be our little bot," staff said, describing a mascot-driven interface that will appear in the lower right of the county's website and route callers to departments when keywords indicate a different office.
