County staff summarized the board's recommended responses to the 2025-26 Sutter County Grand Jury final report, noting positive findings for Health and Human Services and the jail and two findings/recommendations affecting the Agricultural Commissioner's office. Staff said the first pesticide-fine recommendation (clarifying facts used to classify fines) has been implemented in the notice-of-proposed-action penalty section as required by 3 CCR section 6130(d); the office will not implement the grand jury's second suggested procedural change because existing pesticide law does not require it, staff said.
