Sutter County staff recommended the Board appoint Nicholas Oliver as interim Agricultural Commissioner effective Sept. 5, 2026, following the announced retirement of Lisa Herbert. Assistant County Administrator Laura Granados (speaker 18) said Oliver currently serves as assistant agricultural commissioner, has worked for the county for more than 19 years and holds a bachelor of science in biology from UC San Diego.
