Council approves plat amendment combining two Ridgecrest Drive lots for Terrence Nelson

Town Clerk Hurd presented the planning commission’s report and recommended approval of a plat amendment requested by Terrence Nelson for 68 Ridgecrest Drive (Plat 14, Lots 71 and 72). The clerk told the council the planning commission received two verbal comments during the required notice period — one concerned proposed structures and one questioned a historic creek bed and potential overflow — but found no grounds under town ordinances to deny the application and reported no objections at the planning-commission public hearing on Jan. 14.
