Laura Hofland, a first‑grade teacher at Heritage Lakes Elementary, told the Community Consolidated School District 93 Board during public comment that she supports continuing the district's e‑learning option but urged the Board to reconsider some implementation requirements. "She stated that she supports continuing e‑learning but asked the Board to consider reviewing the parameters requiring teachers and students to remain on camera and engage in Google Meet sessions for such extended periods, noting that a five‑hour requirement can be challenging," Hofland said.
