The Dallas County Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 2026-0019 on Feb. 19, 2026, formally certifying the results of the West Des Moines at-large special election held Feb. 17, 2026. Supervisor Brad Golightly moved to approve the resolution and Chair Julia Helm seconded; the minutes record the vote in favor by Helm and Golightly and note Supervisor Kim Chapman was absent.
