City staff gave an update on several downtown development projects. At 1 East 14 Mile (the former Grand River) new tenants received liquor license approval at city council and are preparing interior construction with hopes of opening by the holidays. Work resumed at 172 West 14 Mile (former Burger King) and construction at 150 North Main (the former PNC site) is ongoing with an anticipated completion in spring 2027.
