The Village of Villa Park Plan Commission discussed a resident request to add rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFBs) at several school crossings and voted to table a final decision until staff can confirm school-district participation and collect more traffic data. Staff liaison Ray Kerenas told the commission engineering had reviewed candidate locations and recommended installations at select mid-block and crossing locations.
