County grants road-use permit to Northwoods Land Trust

On July 28 the board approved a resolution granting a temporary road use permit to Northwoods Land Trust for access over county lands in the Town of Mercer (N ½ and N ½ SW ¼ of Section 4 and NE ¼ of Section 5, T42N, R3E). The Forestry Committee reviewed and approved the request as consistent with the county’s 15-year forestry plan, and the resolution requires the permit to remain open to the public with no gates allowed.
