Dave, speaking for the transportation and solid waste department, told the committee crews have made substantial progress on contract work and maintenance ahead of weather changes. "I wrote the report. It's probably closer to 85 or 90% done," he said about township seal coat progress and estimated about $2,200,000 in work ready to wrap up. He said several hot-mix overlays on Brooklyn Road and Lee Center Road remain and may extend into October.
