Exeter plans Oct. 7–9 boat visit and school programs for 250th celebration
As part of Exeter’s 250th events, the town will host a historic boat from Portsmouth Oct. 7–9 at the public dock with public hours and organized school visits led by an educational curriculum developed by the American Independence Center.

Commissioners reviewed plans for Exeter’s 250th anniversary events, including a multi-day visit by a historic boat from Portsmouth scheduled for Oct. 7–9. Chair Francoise Elise said the boat will be docked at the public dock for approximately three days with public hours and organized visits for local schools.
