Neighbors and owners reach compromise on Fireside Kitchen late‑night hours
Fireside Kitchen requested extended entertainment and alcohol hours; after neighborhood meetings and committee questions the Alcohol License Review Committee approved a condition requiring closure by 11 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and midnight on Friday–Saturday (New Year’s Eve excepted), to be sent to Common Council Oct. 6.

Fireside Kitchen co‑owner Xavier Fuller told the Alcohol License Review Committee on Sept. 16 that the restaurant sought more flexible hours for events such as karaoke, bingo and occasional DJ nights to separate regular dining from event hours. Fuller said the owners initially considered a later 2 a.m. schedule but negotiated with neighbors and proposed a more limited extension for weekends.
