Fire Chief Wallace Jr. told council the department has completed 315 runs year to date, has been busy supporting the Clare County Fair and is preparing a Jaws of Life demonstration for the Street Fair. DPW Superintendent Russell said town maintenance is ongoing, sprinklers at the Remedy Ridge are finished and the Byfield project will start Wednesday; he also said the department is seeking more bids for asphalt repairs.
