Council hears code enforcement, tax mailing and election reminders

Code Enforcement Officer Freeman reported five lawns needing attention; Treasurer Wheeler-Clay reminded residents that tax bills have been mailed and urged those who haven't received theirs to contact the city; City Clerk Kathy Maharas said the Public Accuracy Test went well and reminded residents to vote on August 4, 2026.

At the July 20 meeting Code Enforcement Officer Freeman told the council that "5 lawns need to be taken care of," signaling outstanding property maintenance issues that may require follow-up enforcement.
