The commission approved revisions to The Canyons Phase 2 final plat that add a 15-foot sanitary sewer easement, a 5-foot wall‑maintenance easement, and minimum finished‑floor elevations for lots in the floodplain; staff said sewer relocation work will begin this week.

Maggie Alegria, development services coordinator, told the Planning and Zoning Commission that the revised final plat for Phase 2 of The Canyons was necessary to document as-built site conditions and add several easements.
